Hey I just met you
And it’s the 80’s
But here’s my number
So page me, maybe?
In addition to his heart, I wonder if the Grinch had anything else that was three sizes too small.
Not having your skin color be tied to deeply rooted racial issues resulting in the placement of it in a Twitter hashtag suddenly becoming a serious and non-cutesy statement #whitepeopleproblems

Ain’t it Jay?
Eyes rolling back into my head like a slow sludge as a wave of purple hits
Cannot escape this eerieness
It must be bolstered
Exhaustion is less tiring on the body than I had imagined
But yet a world’s weight upon the soul
Fleeting inertia is certainly cause for panic.

I feel like a character in a movie, like I’m in Adaptation or Punch-Drunk Love.
Like I have these likeable qualities that go unnoticed by most people and then that event happens or that someone comes along and gets you to realize who you already know that loves you or that new person comes into your life and does this.
I’m still waiting for that something and/or someone.
This is life though, and that makes me afraid that something and/or someone won’t come.
I’m used to being alone.
But sometimes it is too much to bare.
Like right now.
Heart to you too

Teen angst
Look at me
Look at me
Pity, pity, pity
Deep, poetic; difficult to understand
Speaking your soul
Which is bound to change
You are so unique
Of course no one else is like you
That would be absurd
You are a single spark in this dark universe
That burns brighter than the rest
The only person who gets you
Is you
And I get that
You’re an unappreciated being
And I appreciate that
So please
Please please please
please please
Notice me too

BEYONCE’S NEW SONG IS A BANGER DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN
The continued use of private pools is an act of rape against mankind itself. Harkening back to the Native Americans who first inhabited this land, a sense of elitism and superiority has been imposed in the United States since the Europeans arrived in North America and began to take the Native Americans’ land- land that included lakes and pools which anyone and everyone could use. The Europeans forbade the Native Americans from using the pools that were once free for all, and insisted that they were now for the Europeans’ private use. This practice of having private pools for the exclusive use of a select few has carried on throughout time and this shameful truth must be rectified. While public pools stand for equality and freedom as anyone can use them, private pools represent the oppressive regimes of the social elite who try to privatize our freedom to make our own choices due to the exclusion of pool usage for those who do not own them. If we allow the existence of private pools to continue, the social elite will ultimately buy all public pools and make them private. With all pools being privately owned, the elite will start charging ludicrous amounts of money for usage of the pools which very few will be able to afford. In order to gain pool usage, people will start agreeing to live and work on the land of the elite in exchange for pool usage, leading to a return to the feudal system and serfdom that is the enemy of democracy. Private pools will ultimately lead us recede our progress as a civilized people and will usher in a return to tyrannical practices, and in order to fight this, we must make all pools available for public use.
